The Noose.
So again the story is continuing on the pages of Birds of Prey.
Back to
Dinah, who escapes in front Lady Vic and Brutale in jungle of Hasaragua.
(Well, this
again hadn't been drawn by Greg Land, but the panel editing is clever at
least).
Meanwhile,
Giz and Mouse finds Oracle's track. Blockbustrer send one of his assassin,
Stallion and his team to the identified hide-out,
but that is
not the real thing.
Dinah
clashes Lady Vick and Brutale.
She manages
to overcome them (Dinah's Shouts are very good again, if the draws are lame).
However, hers blessed good heart drifts her into trouble: She saves Brutale of
course she does it for not his two beautiful eyes but also to take out that
Blockbuster is the payer. Yes, but while Lady Vic is sneaking up behind her and
she knocks
down her.
After the
fiasco, Giz and Mouse discover that they can find Oracle's hideout easily from
Dinah's side (exactly: from the communication with Dinah). And indeed, it looks
like it's working.
Finally, a
little airtime gets Nightwing and Nite-wing also. So Nightwing had been freed
at the end of the previous episode by the FBI agent, who now starts to rescue
Nite-wing. But the idiot of course misunderstands the situation and ends up
Cisco. When Nightwing finds out this, he gets pissed himself slightly.
Chuck Dixon shows us his energetic side. The story goes on four (and a
half) threads. All are quite simple (but thread of Giz and Mouse) and
action-packed (also but thread of Giz and Mouse and thread of Oracle). Butch
Guice is still awful, but the last page is very well done. Apparently he drew
it already for a few months, therefore the past few booklets were so lame :P
