Wonder Women.
New York is trying to recover from the
post-war devastation (and it is still the Our worlds at war storyline), but it
is difficult to curb clashes between humans and aliens.
Green Lantern, Jade and
Starfire try this, when suddenly ... the Green Lantern begins to transform into
a stag. This is Lady Spellbinder's work, but it looks like it's not a
hallucination but very real, in addition a whole Manhattan-wide magical field
(or what) is created by the help of Silver Swan.
The war abused not only New York but also the land of the Amazons,
Themyscira. Before statue of Artemis, Wonder Woman is begging endless for
forgiveness, because the strength of their faith was offered to Darkseid in the
war. But it is not response, so her oration becomes more ireful, until finally...
Her nemesis, Circe terminates the speech by a
well-planned face-kick. Wonder Woman tries to settle her quickly by her
magic-lasso. But it is no effect against Circe. Circe has come to call Wonder
Woman to New York
where it is a surprise for her. So Wonder Woman starts off with Donna Troy, the
former Wonder Girl. Meanwhile in the Big Apple, Circe gathers the male super
heroes who are lose their super skills and transform to animal by Spellbinder's
field. Superman is trapped by Circe's daughter, Lyta.
But this is not only the destiny of the
superheroes. For example, President Lex Luthor has become a spider who is
prisoner in his own web, the Air Force One is used by Circe for headquarters
(her lover, Cheetah is also with her). However, she gathers the super evil
women to help the reckoning the defenseless super heroes.
Wonder Woman and Donna Troy are landed in
Liberty Island; soon Wonder Girl and her two partners from Young Justice,
Secret and Empress join them. By Oracle's dispatching, the other super heroines
arrive to. Wonder Woman quickly assigns the tasks: Zatanna immunizes them
against Spellbinder's Curse, the leaders of the army corps are: Doctor Light
(not the man from last time, but the female version), Powergirl, Donna Troy,
Black Canary and Wondergirl. Batgirl arrives too, but she is somehow shy to
join the others, so Oracle entrusts Canary to help her staying in the shade.
Then prelude by Silver Swan's scream, Circe arrives on her Air Force One with
the captured Superman.
And the battle begins...
