Birds of Prey v1 004 - The Return of the Ravens 01

The Ravens Strike.

So again, here is the rival girl-team with well changed look (and I do not only mean their clothes). They immediately fight against Kobra Prime's men on a well-composed double page.

(Greg Land apparently really cares that if they spread their legs it is covered.)
Anyway, the fight is still going through or so six pages, while Pistolera and Vicious are constantly starting on each other. Then Kobra Prime appears and says: OK, you have suited, you are hired.
Meanwhile, Dinah goes for vacation to Lake Mackachitahoo, Minnesota. She takes a room in the lakeside motel, flirts with the young receptionist, whom she learns that there have been yet three pretty girls like her (the Ravens, of course).

She even learns that the lake has a mysterious new attraction, an own separate monsters (like Loch Ness).
Meanwhile, there are continuing Oracle's previously initiated affairs: somebody watches her by cameras, she is chatting with the mysterious Beeb, and the army officer, who hunts her, Major Van Lewton finds her track. Meanwhile, in Minnesota it gets dark. The raven girls dive into the lake to a mysterious Soviet stuff (CCCP with big red letters), and Dinah starts out to walk on the beach.
When:

Chuck Dixon brings his usual form, he brings a two-threaded story (in fact, if you look Oracle's affairs, three) with alibi actions on numerous pages and with properly jokes (by bickering of Pistolera and Vicious bickering and Dinah's flirting). So it has practically nothing much happened, but at least it is pleasant to read. Thanks to Greg Land it is also pleasant to look. I can't praise enough, he draws well and vigorously, and his compositions are very pleasing for me. And finally Dinah's face is not masculine.
