One of those days.
So the previous part has ended that Pajama's men have been preparing to
expose Dinah. Accordingly, we open with a short scuffle what follows a
well-composed double page:
So Dinah is prisoner. The tied canary is visited by Jason Bard, aka Reed
Montel, Oracle's ex-fiancé who totally climbs on her (literally): "Take it
easy, so you'll live longer."
And he releases the ropes and liberates her.
It turns out that he is here on the relatives' authority for finding the
people who's abducted by Pajama. So we know this now they are captured
immediately. Pajama prepares to shoot Dinah, but Bard selflessly jumps between
them.
After all this excitement Oracle is quickly chatting three pages with
the mysterious Beeb while someone is still watching her with cameras. Dinah
gets among the other prisoners who are made to work at Pajama's drug
plantations under Hellhound's custody. On the plantation she meets Bard, who is
blind.
To be continued.
It's practically no much happened in the episode (written by Chuck
Dixon), but there have been a few nice turns. Greg Land has really warmed to
draw, ha can without spreading (well, Dinah remain spreads but at least
undercover).
