The Wrong Guy.
Saving Private Dinah is continuing (although up to now, it has not been
really needing it).
So we have stopped at canary have managed to free a crazy
(looks like) scientist and Guy Gardner, ex Green Lantern. And now, they are
immediately charged by the Koroscovan elite corps, the Iron Brigade.
But it's no problem, Guy dispose of them during few minutes. And it
turns out that he is not Guy, but Joe Gardner, who was cloned by aliens from
the DNA and memories of the real Guy, and he has his super abilities without
the ring of the Green Lantern. The real Green Lanterns captured him and put in
a container, and someone kidnapped and auctioned him. Koroscovan finally bought
him to develop a living tactical weapon from him. The mad scientist was member
of the team too, but he did not want to satisfy with so much, so he wanted to
liberate Joe, and he was imprisoned too. Meanwhile, Koroscovan Air Force
arrives to bomb Dinah and the others. The Koroscovan ambassador protests
indignantly at U.S.
president against Oracle's using death ray (because it was an U.S. satellite).
For clarify this fiasco, Oracle calls the international humanitarian
organization, from which she has gotten the tip to liberate the mad scientist,
but they do not even know it. The weird guy stands in the background of the
whole affair who has been in a prologue of a previously issue, (although it
doesn't turn out clearly, but he wants Green Lantern clone presumably). After
all unpleasantness, Oracle is chatting a bit with the mysterious Beeb.
Meanwhile, Joe Gardner is crushing the Koroscovan army,
then he flies away with Dinah and the scientist.
It's a good-bye kiss after the landing, and it can come to the Air Force.
While Joe makes scrap from the Migs, Oracle hears the news that they
succeed in starting a Koroscovan-American War.
What will happen now?
After a short (mandatory) action overture, Chuck Dixon cleverly
complicates the threads in the first half of the booklet for that it comes to a
real superhero action orgy, in which an entire army is destroyed. And Dinah, a
mad scientist and Joe joke on the whole way for no too flat story. Greg Land
has discovered that Dinah can not only spread but also stick out hers bottom
(which is not so obscene).
