So, Dinah and Catwoman caught the parademon, Pharzoof who had got them
(and the full train U.S.
Marshals and super-evils) to Apokolips.
Pharzoof tells his life story. He was
born at a great famine, he stunted as larva, so he was thrown out from the hive
(the parademons live in some hive, and they reproduce themselves just like the
bees). He could survive and had personality which is uncommon at the
parademons. So he decided to submit the entire planet.
Meanwhile, the Marshals hardly resist against the attack of the
parademons…
even with the help of the super-evils.
After eight pages of concentrated and action, Dinah and Pharzoof reach
the cave there are the dimensional portal opening gadgets. While Catwoman
remains at a full tram pure diamond. When they finally find the widget, Lashina
appears and attacks to Dinah. Meanwhile, Pharzoof slips away with the gadget.
But then Catwoman arrives, settles Lashina, and Canary catches Pharzoof.
The Marshals and the super-evils barely keep their stand when Dinah
appears and opens the passage to Earth. Everyone successfully reach across
Dinah in Joe Gardner's Catwoman in Mammoth's arms. Pharzoof is left behind willfully
off course.
Well, basically that's it. Oracle and Power Girl is in two Frame, they
seek Dinah and the others in one (last time it was a total page for this), and
they are happy for the homecoming of Dinah and the others in the second one.
The super-evils go to jail again, except Catwomant who slips away (it doesn't
turn out whether she has brought diamond).
So it switches a concentrated action orgy at the end just as usual by
Chuck Dixon. Greg Land draws it beautifully and richly detailed. This is a
full-blooded superhero theme without any serious, thought-provoking thing.
